Katelyn Rosen of Maverick has committed to UCLA for the 2023-24 season.
Katelyn is a U.S. junior elite gymnast. In 2018, she finished eighteenth in the all around at the GK U.S. Classic and twentieth also in the all around at U.S. Championships.
Prior to turning elite, Katelyn had a very successful Level 10 career that began in 2017. That year, she won gold on vault and floor and silver in the all around at the Texas State Championships, and silver in the all around at the Region 3 Championships. She qualified to her first Junior Olympics, where she tied for fourteenth place on vault in the Junior A division. Her 2018 season was even more successful. She won gold on floor, silver on vault and bronze on beam and in the all around at the State Championships, and gold in the all around, silver on beam and bronze on vault at Regionals. She qualified to her second Junior Olympics, where she was crowned floor exercise champion in the Junior A division.
