Lyden Saltness of Midwest Gymnastics has committed to Auburn for the 2023-24 season.

Lyden is a current U.S. junior elite gymnast. This year, she competed at both the American Classic and the GK U.S. Classic, and finished twenty-fourth in the all around at both competitions.

Prior to turning elite, Lyden had an excellent Level 10 career, which began in February 2016 at the Gina Morri Invitational, where she won the all around title. Later that year, she was seventh on bars at the Minnesota State Championships. In 2018, she won silver on vault at the State meet, and went on to have an outstanding Region 4 Championships. There, she won gold in the all around, on bars and on floor, and bronze medals on vault and beam. She qualified to her first Junior Olympics, where she was crowned uneven bars champion in the Junior B division.

Lyden wrote on Instagram: ‘I am so happy to announce I have verbally committed to Auburn University on a full ride gymnastics scholarship! Thanks to all my friends, family, and coaches I am so excited to be part of this team! War Eagle💙🐯🧡’.
