Alexis Jeffrey of GAGE has committed to UCLA for the 2020-21 season.

Alexis is one of the newest U.S. junior elite gymnasts. She qualified elite in 2018 after an outstanding Level 10 season, and showed impressive improvement competition after competition. She first competed at the American Classic, where she finished thirtieth in the all around. She went on to have a much improved GK U.S. Classic, placing eleventh in the all around and ninth on bars. Her first U.S. Championships was also her best elite competition: she finished ninth in the all around and on bars, and seventh on floor.

Prior to turning elite, Alexis had an outstanding Level 10 career, which included three Junior Olympics appearances (2016-18). She began competing as a Level 10 in December 2015. In 2016, she was fifth in the all around at the Missouri State Championships, and tied for ninth on bars at the J.O.s in the Junior A division. In 2017, she was second in the all around and third on bars and beam at the Region 3 Championships. She qualified again to the Junior Olympics, where she tied for gold on the uneven bars in the Junior B division. 2018 was by far her best Level 10 season. At the State meet, she won gold on bars, and bronze in the all around, on vault and on beam. At Regionals, she was crowned all around, vault and bars champion, and qualified to her third Junior Olympics. There, she became the all around and uneven bars champion in the Junior E division.
