Kylie Haffner of LaFleur’s has committed to Rutgers for the 2020-21 season.
Haffner began competing as a Level 10 gymnast in 2016. That year she competed at her first Level 10 Florida State Championships, where she was fifth on vault, seventh on floor and twelfth in the all around. She qualified to her first Region 8 Championships, where she was twelfth on vault and twenty-second in the all around. Haffner had an outstanding 2017 season. At the State Championships she won a gold medal on bars, she tied for bronze on vault and was fourth in the all around. At Regionals, she was crowned uneven bars champion and was fifth in the all around. She qualified to her first Junior Olympics, where she tied for eleventh on bars and was twenty-ninth in the all around. In 2017 Haffner also won a gold medal on bars and a bronze on floor at the LaFleur Invitational and a silver medal on bars at the Daytona Beach Open.
