Hannah Matuszak Commits to Winona State (2018-19)

Hannah Matuszak of Eastern National Academy of Gymnastics has committed to Winona State University for the 2018-19 season.

Her school, the Bishop Kelley High School, congratulated her on Twitter: ‘Congratulations to senior Hannah Matuszak who has verbally committed to @WinonaStateGYMN for gymnastics. Go Hannah!’

Matuszak has been competing as a Level 9 gymnast since 2015. That year she finished sixth on beam and thirteenth in the all around at the New Jersey State Championships, and sixth on beam, floor and in the all around at the Region 7 Championships. She qualified to the Eastern Level 9 Championships, where she tied for fourth place on floor and was twelfth on beam. In 2016 she competed again at the Region 7 Championships, where she tied for bronze on floor and was fourteenth in the all around. Also in 2016 she won bronze medals on beam and in the all around at the Fantasia Optional Invitational and a bronze medal on vault at the Brestyans Las Vegas Invitational. In 2017 Matusziak competed at only two meets. Her first meet was the IGI Chicago Style Gymnastics Meet, where she won gold on vault and was fourth on floor and in the all around. Her second meet was the Fantasia Optional Classic, where she competed on bars, beam and floor and won a silver medal on floor.
