Emma Malabuyo of Texas Dreams, one of the United States’ top junior gymnasts, has verbally committed to UCLA for the 2020-2021 season.
Malabuyo, 15, announced the good news on Instagram: ‘EXCITED🌟PROUD 🌟THANKFUL🌟Today I verbally committed to attend UCLA on a full ride athletic scholarship!!! Emma Malabuyo is the 2017 U.S. junior floor exercise champion, as well as all around silver medallist and a bronze medallist on vault and bars. She has recently competed at the junior Japan Cup, where she won a gold medal on floor, silver medals on beam and in the all around, and bronze on vault and bars.
